CJ / Housai Propellers

Pioneering the world's first composite version of the 2-blade OEM Chinese propeller.

CJ6 / Zhuzhou Huosai HS6A Propeller Upgrade

PN: GT2VH6-29°-255-WC-S

A revolutionary natural-composite propeller that transforms CJ6 performance — compatible with both the stock 285 HP engine and the uprated 370 HP version.

Developed in cooperation with the Red Star Pilots Association (USA), this natural-composite, scimitar-design two-blade unit is engineered as a direct replacement for the OEM metal J9-G1 — with no hub modification required.

Key Benefits

  • Lighter weight than the original metal propeller
  • Increased diameter: 260 cm / 102 inches
  • Advanced scimitar design and modern airfoils, with metal leading-edge erosion protection
  • Proven performance gains: +10% on the stock 280 HP engine, and over +25% on modified 370 HP engines
  • Fuel savings on cross-country missions

All the well-known advantages of natural-composite propellers are now available to CJ6 operators.

In development: a matching fighter-style composite spinner — delivering additional fuel savings, improved cooling, and easy installation, while also offering the simplest solution for dynamic balancing during propeller service.
